Sexual Health Trainer
Buckinghamshire Integrated sexual health service has a vacancy for a full time Sexual Health Trainer. The role will include providing tailored training to health & social care providers and lay health professionals, aimed at increasing their confidence in raising & dealing with HIV & sexual health issues with patients/clients in non-judgemental and affirming ways. To provide training for individuals at potential risk of poor sexual health, for example: students with learning difficulties ,vulnerable adults with substance misuse , looked after young people and Sex workers, covering healthy relationships, resilience, STIs, contraception and consent. The trainer will also be part of the team delivering the One-One Early Intervention Programme for vulnerable/ at risk people.
Terrence Higgins Trust was set up in 1982 following the death of its namesake Terry Higgins, who was one of the very first people to die of an AIDS-related illness in the UK.
