HIV Health Advice and Support Worker
Terrence Higgins Trust was set up in 1982 following the death of its namesake Terry Higgins, who was one of the very first people to die of an AIDS-related illness in the UK. As an organisation we are always aiming to ensure we are always meeting the needs of people affected by HIV and poor sexual health.
The Transformation and Operations team sits at the heart of our charity. Made up of our Income Generation department that works to find every pocket willing to give to our cause and our services that deliver to our many beneficiaries, this is the sharp end of where our passion and focus to end HIV and improve sexual health come together.
To work as part of Terrence Higgins Trusts Health Trainer service to people living with HIV (PLWHIV) in West Sussex. The aim of this role is to improve the health and wellbeing of PLWHIV: by increasing their level of health and treatments knowledge, and strengthening their understanding of self management.
