Outreach Wellbeing Coach (Racially Minoritised Communities, South Essex)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our national charity on behalf of the Essex Wellbeing Service.
Successful candidates will deliver high quality outreach wellbeing coaching to Racially Minoritised Communities in Essex. When required, the role will also involve supporting the team deliver coaching to other target groups in the region. The main goal is improving the health and wellbeing within seldom-heard communities across the county.
Outreach Wellbeing Coaches will aid the development and delivery of health promotion and behaviour change communication interventions. This includes delivering a tailored 1:1 coaching programme to support with self-management to work on client’s barriers, as well as improve their self-worth / confidence. In addition to this support with other health influences such as smoking, accessing health checks and weight management.
Experience of community work is essential to this role and we welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
